Week One and Two (September 2-12):
We offer Learning Centre Basics workshops. These workshops from September 2-12 will help you to start off the semester in the right direction! Workshops focus on academic strategies you need to be successful in your courses and in learning online. They are led by Learning Centre instructors, staff, English Language Learning Specialists, and peer tutors.

Writing and Submit a Draft Tutoring Service will start on Monday, September 15, 2025
Douglas College Learning Centre services are available online and in-person
The label "NW" (New Westminster Douglas College Campus Learning Centre, Library room N2105) or "CO" (Coquitlam Douglas College Campus Learning Centre, Library Main Floor B1300) can meet on-campus or online.
First time logging in?
To login to our schedules, please use your Douglas College student number and your CNA password. The CNA password is what you use to login to Blackboard and the college WIFI network.
The Learning Centre supports Douglas College students who enroll in accredited courses.
Douglas College students in ENGU 0100 and 0200 level courses are encouraged to reach out to their instructors.
Register for a workshop
Workshops focus on academic strategies you need to be successful in your courses and in learning online. They are led by Learning Centre instructors, staff, English Language Learning Specialists, and peer tutors. The Tutor Tips workshops feature panels of peer tutors sharing their own strategies. English Language Support workshops provide practical information and tips for improving your English reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the Douglas College courses you’re taking. The Learning Centre supports students with content, writing and academic strategies as well as provides professional development for tutors. Assignments that students submit to the Learning Centre may be discussed in training sessions with tutors and Learning Centre instructors. All identifying student, tutor, and instructor information will be removed.
